We had an amazing time at this perfect getaway cottage in the heart of the Peak District. The cottage was just the right size for us, our baby, and our furry friend. The village itself was charming, with plenty of cafes, shops, and pubs within walking distance. The cottage was beautifully presented and spotlessly clean. We even had fresh bread and wine waiting for us upon arrival. Parking was easy to find, and the lack of a dedicated garden didn't bother us as there was a convenient grassy area nearby for our dog. The welcome pack had everything we needed and more, from entertainment options to thoughtful touches for the kids and pets. We would definitely recommend Nutmeg Cottage and would stay here again in a heartbeat. we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this place.

We had the most amazing stay at Nutmeg Cottage. From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. The cottage was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack was a lovely touch and had everything we needed for our stay. We especially loved the thoughtful touches for the kids and the dogs. The village itself was charming and had great pubs and shops within walking distance. The only small downside was the central heating timer set low, but that didn't dampen our overall experience. We highly recommend Nutmeg Cottage for a perfect getaway in the heart of the Peak District.

Free WiFi, perfect for scrolling through social media while pretending to be adventurous in the Peak District. Close to Buxton Opera House, in case you want culture after all those pub visits. Cons: Just loved it all, really. Couldn't find a single thing to complain about. How disappointing.

Great location for exploring the Peak District, with lovely pubs nearby. The cottage was well-stocked, warm, and quaint. The welcome pack was fantastic, with everything we needed and more. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had entertainment options like board games and a Bluetooth speaker.
The bathroom mixer tap was difficult to get a steady temperature from. like many properties in the village, there was no rear yard.
